| So, I had plans with my concert buddy, let's call him Stephen, to go to KC on Friday and see a concert.
He had a tire blow out today. He doesn't think that he will be able to drive to KC on Friday.
I already have tickets.
This situation seems vaguely familiar.
I suppose, at the very least, that he did let me know 2 days in advance.

| It's been an interesting semester so far. I have so much on my mind...
School is going fine. I going to all of my classes, and I am not foreseeing an problems arising. I will, however, be going to school for another semester due to finances and aid. Which is fine I guess. I am thinking about taking some gen eds at OTC. Maybe that will help.
Work is looking up. I am mostly working at the National store. It's fine. Not as fun as the Campbell, but it's more chill. I got Paden and David jobs at the stores. Paden at National, and David at Campbell. That will make things more bearable. On top of that, I also get to train both of them! That's going to be fun.
I got arrested a few weeks ago. Not fun. This is going to cost me a lot of money. I had to get a lawyer, and I have to get my car legal and get my license back, all so I can look good when I receive my sentence. Yeah, I have a sentence...the minimum being 48 hours of jail time or 40 hours of community service...the maximum being a year of jail time. That's really scary!! I can't do that. But what I did doesn't seem that bad, and if I do all these things, I will probably not get a lot. It sucks though, I have all these plans for the summer, and lawyers aren't cheap. All of it is kinda up in the air because of this. On the upside, theoretically, I will have my license for the summer, although it will probably get suspended again.
By the end of the week, I will have signed a lease to move into a pretty rockin' house. That being with some pretty rockin' people. Scott Seals, Jeff Doak, Paden Devine Barron, David Appelbaum will be moving into the Domination House around June 1st. That is less then 55 days away. shit. We have to come up with the deposit by the end of this week.
David's 21st birthday party was this week. It was mostly fun...as far as the saturday night party was concerned, however, that could be argued. It was interesting to say the least, and that is all I will say about that.

It's quite an interesting to find out you are fired from a high school from someone random and not your boss. I was not asked back to Branson, I am generally fine with that. It was the hardes thing to try and get up there, I and couldn't be there as much as I wanted to. If Mr. Kerley had taken me aside and said, "Hey, I realize you can't be here a lot...we're going to have to replace you...do you have anyone in mind?" or "I got this name from so and so, what do you think?" that would have been fine. I would have been happy to help them out and relieve my stress. But he was very unprofessional about the whole thing. I guess I should have seen it coming, for instance it was the same thing that happened to Miona when she worked there. There are no hard feelings that I harbor for anyone there at that place. I just wish he would have said something.

| Finals are done...and I feel pretty good about it. I stayed up late last night studying with Melanie and Michaela for MUS 345, and it's a good thing, because I wouldn't have known anything on that test. It also helped that the entire thing was multiple choice. Then my jury went splendidly, I think. So now I am done with classes this semester. Now what?
I have work...awesome! I am going to work mostly at the National Panera, because it is closer. I will still work on sundays at the Campbell store, I can't just leave them.
I have music to write. I wanted to start a tango for string quartet, or quintet. And I also want to get a jump start on this 7 deadly sins percussion piece, it's going to be quite the under taking. And I also have to stay in shape for winds next semester...the list isn't posted yet so I don't know where I am seated.
I have Branson...their first camp is this Saturday I have a lot to do and I don't want to get bogged down like I did last year with them. I don't want to let them down, so I am trying really hard to write a show for them that will work for them.
I have friends, a few at least that will be here for a while over the break. There are a few old ones that I want to hang out with before they leave for whatever comes next for them. There are also the regulars that I'll keep company with for the most part.
I have an apartment to clean up for the news years party I'll be having after I get back from Cali.
I have the Cali trip to get ready for. And also Christmas...
Hopefully I can keep busy, if not...you might be getting a call from me.

| I thought about it, and I have decided that I am going to California with the marching band to the Tournament of Roses Parade. Yes, I am going to be in the parade...not playing though, I will be carrying a banner. Awesome, I know. This is funny because when I found out about this, I told john sullivan that I would be a banner carrier, and now I am. On an relatively unrelated note, I had to sign up in a room for the hotels, which everyone had already signed up for, and there were two that had a spot open, and both of them were guard boy rooms...interesting.
I think this might be cool because I will be in Cali, and I might be able to see some family...like my grand parents, and my sister. So, sister, if you read this, lets be friends in Cali! I will be there between the 28 and the 2nd. The 29th will be a parade and performance at Disneyland. We will be at Disneyland all day so I think that may be the best way to find me. All the other days seem pretty booked.
Mmmmmmm Finals Week! I have an Electronic Music project or two to complete, a MUS 345 final to study for, and a jury...all the while I also have a gig at James River, and work, and some weird thing tonight with the Graduate conducting class.

I have recently found that you have a severe lack of appropriate gay men for me to date. I have known you for almost 6 years, and I have not dated one person in that entire time! So I must ask you to produce some quality gay men within the next couple of weeks/months. I don't care.

Really though, I probably wouldn't have time to get into anything. I am a pretty busy person. Or maybe I am just trying to make myself feel better about not being good enough to date. I'm sorry, that was supposed to be sarcastic, but sarcasm doesn't come off well in writing. Apparently it just comes off as sad. I'm not depressing at all.

| Well, here I am. It's been an interesting couple of weeks. Where to start.
I took Stacey home for thanksgiving. That was fun, my family thought that she was my girlfriend. Then we hung out with the gang in St. Louis on Friday, and then came back to springpatch that night. When we got back, I found out that my laptop crashed. freaking awesome. It had all of my music and cds and finale projects on it. soooo coool. So now I am forced to use my mac for everything, and it's quite slow and awkward.
Friday night we were driving down to Mountain Home, AR for a gig. on the way down, a few miles inside AR , Aron hits a deer and totals his car. This being the car that he poured $4000 into fixing it up. Then we flag down this nice old couple to take us the rest of the way to Mountain Home, who turn out to be not only drunk, but in the process while driving. more awesome. But we get there just fine and Aron got his uncle to tow the car back to springpatch.
Sunday I tried to get off of work because I new I would be tired from the weekend (I wish I did because I heard that I missed a lot on Saturday night) but I didn't so I ended up going in from 5:30 am to 3pm.
Tonight we had monday night dinner, and watch Seven, and had our drawings for secret santa. This is to occur next monday night. I was also supposed to have tomorrow morning off from Panera, but this morning I got a call from the guy who said he would take my shift, and it turns out he is not working. This meant that I had to write Dt. Prather a note saying that I had to audition at another time. Also meaning that I should go to bed soon. I should go clean up after the dinner.
Other than that, every one has been acting super weird. I just try to be relatively reasonable and not get mixed up in anything stupid. I think I have been successful in that regard.
I am so far enrolled in classes, and also staying with Dr. Murray for comp Lessons, Which is awesome! some good news. I hope this other crap just disappears, especially this silly drama with the friends. This group is really starting to grow on me. They've got quite an interesting dynamic.
